| The Armed Forces and Remembrance Week celebration is an annual event organized to honour members of the Nigerian Armed Forces who fought in the first and second World Wars, and those who served or are still serving in various peace support operations worldwide as well as those who fought in the Nigerian civil war. The Day is to celebrate both the dead and the living heroes including all those who suffered various deprivations as a result of wars. |
Let us use today to appreciate God for their lives. Let us pray that the legacies they fought for and are fighting for be preserved. Let us also remember especially the families of our heroes that laid down their lives, that God will adequately comfort them and fill the vacuum they left behind.
May God bless the memory of all our fallen heroes! God bless our living heroes! God bless the Arm Forces of our great nation! God bless Nigeria!
